There are 3 main universities and educational institutions that offer nursing programmes that are accredited/recognised by the Fiji Nursing Council that lead to registration as either a registered nurse, midwife or a nurse practitioner.

The qualifications include a bachelor’s degree for registered nurses and postgraduate for midwives and nurse practitioners.
